No record was safe at the recent 43rd Westernationals at Perth Motorplex.

Records fell like dominos as no less than 15 new marks were set across 10 classes.

David Dequen set the record for E/AA with an ET of 7.401 while pushing the speed marker to 177.86 mph (286.24 kph).

Alistair McClure reset records for BB/FCA with a 6.450 ET and speed of 220.04 mph (354.12 kph).

Errol Quartermaine pushed the ET record for DD/GA to 7.850.

Brett Glover reset the speed for RR/API going 175.78 mph (282.89 kph).

Jake Chaisty set the ET record for H/MSA with an ET of 9.437.

Greg Durack doubled up with a new ET record of 7.123 and speed of 180.36 mph (290.26 kph) for BB/CB.

Ross Smith reset the C/AB records with an 8.359 ET and speed of 160.71 mph (258.63 kph).

Michelle Osborn set a new speed record for A/MA going 185.56 mph (298.63 kph).

Rhett Cooper-Fowle pushed the speed record to 151.00 mph (243.01 kph) for B/MA.

And finally Brenton Baxter reset both ends for A/MR with a 7.621 ET and while going 176.81 mph (284.54 kph).
