In preparation for the 2021/2022 Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series, the National Records, Handicaps and Indexes have been reviewed and updated for 660-foot, 1000-foot and 1320-foot racing.

Updates to the Handicaps have been carried out as per the National Class Handicap Policy, “At start of each new season the Class Handicap will then be reset to the National Record at that time plus one tenth (0.10 second)”.

Also, as per the National Class Index Policy, “NATIONAL INDEX: A calculated figure based on adding to the recorded National Record. +0.65 seconds for 1/4 mile racing. +0.52 seconds for 1000 foot racing. +0.39 seconds for 1/8 mile racing”.

Note that these Indexes have been adjusted throughout the year as new National Records have been set and are not adjusted otherwise.
