Get ready and strap in at Sydney Dragway over this Friday, Saturday and Sunday as a brand new ANDRA Pro Series and Rocket Allstars season is set to explode for the big one - the Fuchs Australian Nationals!
With 400 Drag Racing teams set to wage Quarter Mile warfare, the action will come thick and fast as all categories are literally bursting at the seams with revamped equipment and motivated racers in what look likely to be superb Drag Racing conditions at Australia’s biggest Drag Racing venue.
However its the almost 100 ANDRA Pro Series competitors which is incredible, delivering an entry list that even surpasses the massive Winternationals event in Queensland that served as the grand final to the previous season for the sport.
Top Fuel is the kings of the sport and a double-digit entry list there has people very excited. Andrew Cowin makes a spectacular return to the category and everyone knows with legendary father Graeme in the background, that this team could grab the category by the scruff of the neck this season.
Darren Di Filippo makes a popular return as well this weekend, as a former National Series champion.
Top Doorslammer always delivers and that will continue with an imposing entry list. Will John Zappia and Robin Judd continue the West Aussie whitewash or will the rest of the world’s fastest accelerating sedans step up this season?
Pro Stock has an incredible 24-entries for the Fuchs Nationals and is a real fan favourite, not least of which is the sex appeal of many of it’s racers but even more sexy at times is the presentation of the cars, and the closeness of the racing!
