The Australian National Drag Racing Association (ANDRA) has been alerted to a scam email currently circulating asking people to donate in support of an ANDRA member.

Please do not click on the links in that email or send any funds. This is a scam email, where someone is attempting to impersonate ANDRA in order to trick people into sending money.

This particular email is from an email address of mike@aquosweb.co.uk and the footer of the email notes a Tanzania address, see images below. There may be others of similar type from other email address and locations – unfortunately in today’s day and age, scam activity is increasingly prevalent.

Even if you receive an email that appears to be from an ANDRA email address or a domestic location, you should always be careful and if ever in doubt, contact your Division Director for verification before taking any action.

Please note that ANDRA will never ask you to make payment or send funds of any kind through email.
