For those who have pre-ordered 50-Plus FAST Years of ANDRA Drag Racing, or are thinking of pre-ordering this groundbreaking publication, we here at Full Throttle Publishing Pty Ltd would like to share this update, thanks to ANDRA.

The book is well into being completed. Author Jon Van Daal has, sadly, suffered some personal set-backs health wise of late, but the bulk of the book has been completed, and we are awaiting the full recovery of our dear friend and author to complete the publication.

At this point, we would also like to sincerely thank those sponsors who have supported this publication, and ANDRA for allowing Jon and Full Throttle Publishing to proceed with such a lavish publication.

We are also grateful to those who have pre-ordered this stunning book, and your patience is appreciated.

Of course, Jon could not have foreseen his serious illness, and as such, we have had to work in with his recovery. Thankfully, as mentioned, JVD is recovering, and the remaining chapters of the book will be completed very soon.

The drag racing/motor racing community is a closeknit group, and I know you would all share a get-well message with our ‘ole mate’.

Having said that, we have selected a series of lay-outs for you to enjoy (see below) and I’m sure you would all acknowledge that what we have coming will be a collectors edition and one the sport of ANDRA drag racing in Australia would be proud of.

For those who have pre-ordered and will pre-order this book, there is also a special ‘limited edition’ Jim Read A4 card that will be distributed with your book upon completion. Jim kindly offered to sign and support us, and this ‘hero card’ outlining Jim’s incredible career in drag racing, is a once-off collector’s item. We will be completing this card in the very near future and will offer a ‘sneak peek’ on ANDRA’s and Full Throttle Publishing’s website and Facebook pages very soon.
