It has been brought to the attention of ANDRA Technical that numerous cases have been observed by officials where competitors have not removed the safety pins from either fire extinguishers or onboard fire suppression systems during burnouts.
Competitors are advised that they must remove safety pins for fire bottles or extinguishers prior to commencing burnouts.
Failure to comply will result in racers receiving a warning from officials in the first instance, repeated infractions will be considered a breach of rules under ACR 1.9.2.4 and ANDRA Tribunal action may be initiated.
