Fuchs Nitro Thunder presented by Crow Cams will mark the return of the ANDRA Drag Racing Series to Melbourne after 12 years and plenty has changed since then with safety standards of the sport and the speed of its vehicles.
As part of running the event, concrete blocks have been brought in to line the braking area so the track meets the latest standards required by ANDRA for quick vehicles.
For Fuchs Nitro Thunder presented by Crow Cams the amount of blocks brought in will allow most categories to run over the quarter mile but Top Fuel, Top Bike, Super Comp and Supercharged Outlaws will be run over 1000 feet.
As more concrete walling is obtained, we look forward to extending all categories to quarter mile racing for the future.
