Ewing used a 0.005 reaction time to run a 9.521 ET from a dial in of 9.50 giving her an almost unbeatable 0.026 package to win the third 60foot Rising Star Award of the season.
The run came in the semi-finals of the event and the award is somewhat of a consolation for Ewing who finished runner up in the final later that night.
The 60foot Rising Star Award recognises the Junior Dragster racer who has the best reaction time and dial in package at each round of the Aeroflow Sportsman Drag Racing Championship.
