Madison McLennan, the 14-year old granddaughter of Victor Bray, has swept the Fuchs Winternationals adding the 60foot Rising Star Award to her Gold Christmas Tree in only her third ever race meeting.
McLennan cut a perfect .000 reaction time at the tree to record a 9.122 on a 9.10 dial in for a 0.020 package during round three of eliminations on Sunday at Willowbank Raceway.
The 60foot Rising Star Award recognises the Junior Dragster racer who has the best reaction time and dial in package at each round of the Aeroflow Sportsman Drag Racing Championship.
McLennan will receive an exclusive 60foot Rising Star-branded clothing pack to the value of $300 including a large sports/race bag, cap, hoodie, t-shirt, sticker pack, can cooler and medallion.
