In just over two weeks the second event for the 2010/2011 Perth Motorplex Drag Racing season two of Australia's Top Fuel champions - Phil Lamattina in the Fuchs Lubricants Top Fuel Dragster and Darren Morgan in the AEG Top Fuel Dragster will compete in a match race format. Both Morgan and Lamattina are former Australian champions and both are currently deep into the chase for the title of ANDRA Pro Series Top Fuel champion.
Lamattina is certainly the King of Speed holding the Perth Motorplex track record at a whopping 535kmh (333mph) while Morgan put all the other teams back on their heels with a dominate performance at the recent Fuchs Australian Nationals where he won everything there was to be won (the Rapisarda memorial, the Shannons award – and of course won the event…)
Now just three weeks after they competed against each other in Sydney at round two of the ANDRA Pro Series they are coming to Perth with many things to improve and prove in front of the WA crowd. See event details at Perth Motorplex.
