Coming weeks will see a raft of promotion for ANDRA Drag Racing across the country, with displays taking place at this weekend’s Clipsal 500 in Adelaide and next weekend’s Top Gear Festival in Sydney.
Last year’s demonstration burnouts and launches by drag racers at the Clipsal 500 (pictured above) was very well received by race fans and organisers and will continue again this year with ANDRA Top Fuel championship leader Phil Lamattina on track alongside Top Alcohol racers Gary Busch and Frank Intini, Top Doorslammer driver Rino D’Alfonso, Pro Stock Motorcycle rider Maurice Allen and Supercharged Outlaws competitor Marco Elbe.
ANDRA will have information and free promotional material on offer to fans alongside the drag racing display. Then at Sydney Motorsport Park on March 9-10, ANDRA will participate in a joint display with Sydney Dragway along with an awesome group of racers.
Terry Sainty will have his family’s Top Fuel dragster there, along with the PremiAir outfit owned by Peter Xiberras and driven by Luke Shepherd. Rick Gauci’s Top Alcohol Funny Car, the Top Doorslammers of Maurice Fabietti and Jeff Wilson, Emilion Spinozzi’s Pro Stock GTO, Andrew Hodgson’s Supercharged Outlaws Funny Car and Naomi Lightowler’s Junior Dragster will also be on display and doing fire ups through the day along with some limited on track action.
