After a tough yet rewarding season, the Central Australia Drag Racing Association (CADRA) celebrated the year that was on Friday November 28 with fun, frivolity and the presentation of awards.
Recognised at the evening were not only the season’s drag racing champions, but a number of key contributors to the success of Alice Springs Inland Dragway and CADRA as well as the top two placegetters in the club’s burnout competition. Congratulations to:

“We would also like to send our thanks to all our hardworking volunteers and officials. We are truly blessed to have such an awesome group of volunteers that give up their time to run the events and if it weren’t for you all we would not be the club we are.“We would like to thank everyone who joins me on our amazing committee for their efforts this year. Emma Bell, Andrew Sutton, Stephen Greenfield, Kenton Klau, Sarah Davidson, Craig Hodge, Kerry McNicholl and Mick Willox, you are all a truly dedicated group of people,” CADRA President, Andrew Cole, said.
“Thank you also to the passionate fire and ambulance crews who keep us safe, the photographers who capture all of the wicked events, and to all of our amazing sponsors that have got on board this year to support us, including Framed by Alice and Creative Gifts and Awards for creating all the awards throughout the year.
“Thank you also to our governing body, ANDRA, who have made it possible to race and have supported us this season; to all of the spectators for coming to the events and supporting the club; and of course to our entrants for coming out to race and making it such a fun season and especially those who have travelled from interstate to compete.
“Merry Christmas everyone, we look forward to seeing you in 2021!”
