ANDRA is pleased to announce that the Modified Bike bracket of the new ANDRA Regional Sportsman Championship – kicking off this weekend at Alice Springs Inland Dragway’s Desert Nationals – will be sponsored by Ballistic Performance Parts.

Ballistic Performance Parts is headed up by former Top Fuel Motorcycle and Competition Bike champion, Rob Cassar, who got his start in drag racing in Modified Bike back in 1996.

“I am very excited about the new ANDRA Regional Sportsman Championship and to be backing the Modified Bike bracket,” Cassar said.

“Modified Bike is where I got my start and so it just made perfect sense to me to give back by supporting this great bracket.

“I will be watching with keen interest as the new Championship gets underway at the Desert Nationals this weekend while looking forward to joining as a competitor myself at later rounds.

“I hope that we can see more people jumping on and supporting grass roots racing both as supporting partners and as competitors – this series delivers what the ANDRA members have been calling for, and I for one am excited about racing for the most prestigious trophy in Australian drag racing, ANDRA Christmas Trees!”

Ballistic Performance Parts was established in 2008 and today is a popular supplier of car and bike parts and consumables for racers of all levels of drag racing in Australia from street to strip, from the junior categories right through to group one, as well as street and dirt bikes.
