Fresh from their win at the 2010 Fuchs Australian Nationals DMR are heading on the promotional trail. The AEG Top Fuel Dragster will be on display at the grand opening of Bunnings Pakenham Trade Centre on Thursday before heading back to Mildura for the Annual Mildura Show for the remainder of the weekend.
The Pakenham Trade Centre is the latest in a string of new Bunnings Trade Centres currently opening across Australia. Bunnings is the main distributor of AEG Powertools, the naming rights sponsor for the DMR team. DMR will have the car on display during the evening and are planning to start up the 8000hp nitro fuelled engine.
“We are very excited to be heading down to Melbourne to put on a show for AEG and Bunnings. The people of Melbourne don’t get to see a Top Fuel Dragster very often so head across to Pakenham to check it out” said Morgan.

The display will be at the Bunnings Pakenham Trade Centre on Koo Wee Rup Road on Thursday 14th of October from 4pm to 8pm.
Following the Bunnings display in Pakenham DMR will head straight back to its home base of Mildura for the annual Mildura Show. DMR will be firing up the AEG Powertools Top Fuel Dragster during the event.
“The Mildura show is an important event for us. It gives us an opportunity to give back to the community and show them what DMR is all about. DMR would not be what it is today without the support of the local community” said Morgan.
The next event for DMR will be Round 2 of the ANDRA Pro Series which will be held at Sydney Dragway on the 30th-31st of October 2010.
