TEAM BRAY QUEENSLAND FLOOD REPORT

Thanks for the thoughts and concerns we have received since last week's Queensland Flood Crisis. With tens of thousands of people having lost all their worldly possessions it may take months for things to even seem normal here.
As far as the racer community goes it was hit pretty hard as one could imagine with race cars in sheds etc. Here's an update on our team members and fellow racers that we know about:


Rob Pilkington found his quickest pace of the season so far but it was not enough to take a win at the January 8 round of the Top Comp series at Perth Motorplex.
Anyone interested in motor sport knows that officials make the day run smooth. They keep you as the driver out there so you can have fun. This Saturday (22 January) Queensland Raceway will play host to a multi-faceted introduction and information day for motor sport enthusiasts to learn how to become an official for all forms of the sport, from club level to V8 Supercars, Super Bikes and beyond.

Adelaide based Steve Power has been appointed to the ANDRA Technical Manager position, taking over responsibilities for some of the most important areas of the sport.
The World's Quickest Commodore was quick enough to produce smiles all round the Boomeracing crew as Maurice Brennan steered the fan favourite back into the low six second range at the Perth Motorplex last weekend.

Following the success of 2010's Eighth Mile Series, organisers are pleased to announce the series will continue in 2011 complete with a new naming rights sponsor.
