The ACDelco Nissan 300 ZX of Michael "PATCH" Frossos nearly did not make the Top Fuel Match Race on 19th and 20th November 2010.

While Patch was away working up north the meeting was rapidly approaching. It looked like Patch would be away till Saturday morning. His crew was able to finnish putting the car back together and pack the transporter, however getting it to the track would be very hard without a prime mover.

Lamattina Top Fuel Racing is back on track after wining two out of three races against Darren Morgan Racing at Perth Motorplex on Saturday 20th November. 

"It is always a pleasure to race at the Perth Motorplex" said Phil Lamattina "We love coming over and seeing our fantastic fans and also getting a few great passes down the track. I am sure everyone enjoyed the show that LTFR and DMR put on. We are looking forward to getting back over to Perth late January".

Street Sedan racers are now able to get in on the action at this weekend’s Super Sportsman event, with Willowbank Raceway management opening up the event to the popular bracket.

Racers for the bracket will be able to join the Modified, Super Sedan, Super Gas, Modified Bike, Super Street and Junior Dragster competitors at the Ipswich drag racing facility for two events in one this Saturday November 27.

The ACDelco Nissan 300 ZX of Michael "PATCH" Frossos was out at the Perth Motorplex for Top Fuel Match race on the 20th November 2010.

With the team making some changes leading up to the event it was hoped that the ACDelco Nissan 300ZX would get of the start line with more consistency with the different track conditions. Prior to the race meeting we had changed the gearbox (to try some different ratios in 1st and 2nd), service all the brakes, serviced the rear shocks and repaired the Track locator.

This Weekend the second event for the 2010/2011 Perth Motorplex Drag Racing season two of Australia's Top Fuel champions - Phil Lamattina in the Fuchs Lubricants Top Fuel Dragster and Darren Morgan in the AEG Top Fuel Dragster will compete in a match race format. This Saturday night the Western Australian drag racing fans will get a dose of nitro action as the AEG Powertools, Darren Morgan Racing (DMR) Top Fuel Dragster rolls into Perth for the 'Morgan v Lamattina' Top Fuel Match Race. The event will be conducted at the very fast Perth Motorplex on Saturday November 20th 2010, with the race including three passes that will be staged at regular intervals throughout the evening.

Also see 'Aussie Dave' Grubnic performances from this weekend driving for Kalitta Racing, Dave has been driving NHRA Top Fuel in the United States since 1995.

NHRA Top Fuel is run over 1000 foot which differs to ANDRA Top Fuel at 1320 foot (Traditional Quarter Mile).
