ANDRA Drag Racing comes to Warwick Dragway for the first time next week when the Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series hits the eighth-mile track.

The Australian National Drag Racing Association Ltd (ANDRA) is excited to announce Trick Flow Specialties as a new ANDRA Drag Racing Contingency Partner.

Six new national eighth-mile records were set in Round 3 of the Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series at Fuchs South Coast Raceway November 14-15.

When the final round of the Queensland Drag Racing Championships hits the track at Willowbank Raceway this Saturday (21 November), siblings Kellie Kidd and Tony Bellert will be looking to secure twin-championships for their family.

The 32 year old mum of two and her 35 year old engine building brother are leading the points standings in the Knijff Earthmoving Modified and QDRC SuperComp brackets respectively, with Bellert hoping to secure back-to-back titles.

Adding to the family factor is the fact that the pair were introduced to racing by their father and fourth-placed Knijff Earthmoving Modified competitor Phil Bellert, and that under the Bellert Racing Team banner they all compete in honour of their late mother and wife Browyn Bellert – whose passing due to cancer was mourned by the sportsman drag racing community in 2013 with a display of pink heart ‘in memoriam’ stickers which many competitors still carry today.

The curtain has come down on another NHRA season with Richie Crampton sewing up a third place finish and Luke Crowley and Rhett Lougheed mixing it up in Pro Stock Motorcycle.

Matt Forbes has won a historic double in the Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series at Fuchs South Coast Raceway by becoming the first Sportsman (Groups Two, Three, Four) racer to win two ANDRA Christmas Trees at one event.

The Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series returned to eighth-mile action today with qualifying for Round 3 of the 2015/2016 Championship at Fuchs South Coast Raceway in Portland, Victoria.

Ballarat’s Matt Forbes will begin a dual campaign for supremacy when he lines up in both Modified and Super Gas at the South Coast 660 at Fuchs South Coast Raceway in Portland, Victoria this weekend (November 14-15).

This Saturday, November 14th, will mark the concluding round of the 2015 Sydney Dragway Track Championship, sponsored by Atura Blacktown.  Modified racer, Graham Elliot, driver of the GE Corp / Pro Signs dragster, will also be finishing his first full season in competition in the Modified Dragster ranks. 

Four National records were reset at the recent Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series event at the East Coast Nationals in Sydney.

Fans at Fuchs South Coast Raceway in Portland this weekend can look forward to some old school cool as Wayne Talbot pilots his Forever Young II Funny Car at the South Coast 660.

Tonight (Monday November 9, 2015) the 2015 ANDRA Championship Dinner will held at Atura Blacktown in NSW. 

Cory McClenthan, Steven Reed, John Zappia, Mark Drew, Tyronne Tremayne and Scott White have all secured wins at the East Coast Nationals in Sydney.

Tom Dimitropoulos (Super Stock), Peter Everett (Competition Bike), Matt Lisle (Super Compact), Peter Byrne (Supercharged Outlaws), Neale Constantinou (Top Sportsman), Rocco Romano (Modified), Sean Maher (Super Sedan), Phil White (Modified Bike), Samuel Franzen (Super Street), Brooke Farrelly (Junior Dragster) and Joe Catanzariti (Super Gas) have all taken wins in Round 2 of the Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series at the East Coast Nationals in Sydney.

Darren Morgan, Steven Reed, John Zappia, Mark Drew, Lee Bektash and Brad Lemberg all occupy the number one qualifying positions at the East Coast Nationals in Sydney with one qualifier remaining due to weather on Saturday night.
