It's not an uncommon occurrence for WA drag racers in the Super Street category to line up against a Police Officer and race down the Perth Motorplex quarter-mile. After a long and productive service the recent WA Drag Racing Grand Finals, was the last championship event for Tango 1, a car that has been in competition since 2003 spreading it's message "Racing for Road Safety" and encouraging those who want to race to stay off the streets and head to the controlled environment of a race track.

For those who know Craig Geddes, you would have to agree that he’s always smiling and upbeat. Maybe we should all call him the smiling assassin!

Daniel Natalotto was hoping to see a field of Comp bikes together for the Summit Racing Equipment Grand Finals, but when that failed he did the next best thing, he put his name into the ANDRA Modified Bike record book.

The Summit Racing Equipment Grand Finals had it all with drama, action, tough racing, and upsets. In Super Comp records were reset in Competition Eliminator, Super Stock and Super Compact. The combination of good air and a sticky track saw seven sportsman records broken.

With the Summit Series Equipment Grand Finals on his weekend (March 31 – April 1) the momentum has been building up. With championships on the line, the 2016/17 ANDRA season is coming to a close so the pressure is on to perform. The recent Goldenstates and Westernationals rounds at Perth Motorplex gave the locals an opportunity to shuffle the stack in both Group 1 and Summit Sportsman rounds.

After rattling the cage with his breakthrough Super Stock win at the Westernationals, Allan Puglia has made noises of continuing his form at the ANDRA Summit Racing Equipment Drag Racing Grand Finals in Adelaide.

Round 10 of the Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series was to be the event for some racers to close the gap in their chase for a championship. The predicted forecast of rain and winds only added more pressure to the racers and the Steel City club. It hasn’t been a kind season for the club with Mother Nature causing plenty of migraines.

You could say that Supercharged Outlaw racer Rodger Weste is feeling like a bull at the gate having been ready to go in his new racecar since last October.

His three previous attempts had been cancelled; so all going well, Weste is raring to get some runs on the boards at this Sunday’s Supercharged Shootout at Round 10 of the Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series.

Perth’s Alan Mahnkoph recently had a very successful outing at the 46th Westernationals picking up a win in the Supercharged Outlaws category, and his first gold ANDRA trophy.
