Current Australian Top Fuel Motorcycle Champion Chris Porter will take on multiple Australian Champion and National Record holder Chris Matheson in an extreme grudge match at Willowbank Raceway on 18 and 19 April 2014. Both Champions will be undertaking exhibition passes at the Santos Super 3 Extreme Drag Race.

Matheson leads the charge on multi cylinder bikes, while Porter flies the flag for the Nitro Harley V-Twin fans.

Whilst Porter is the current Australian Champion, Matheson, known for his performance record, is no easy beat and has the machine to serve it up to Porter.

Porter said “since Matheson’s crash almost a year ago, he has been keeping a low profile whilst recovering, it’s time the V-Twins stepped up to take Matheson’s National records.

Matheson unperturbed by the niggle from longtime rival said “Porter will need to run a 6.0 to rattle his cage, I hope Chris does, because, I will step it up and go one tenth better”.

The showdown with Fuel Bikes at 50 paces will be something to watch, two capable Champions both with the passion and ability to win.

The exhibition passes will form part of the Santo’s Super 3 Extreme Drag Race presented by Uplift Cranes and Titan Cranes featuring two rounds of the ANDRA Drag Racing Series each for the brackets of Top Fuel and Top Alcohol in the emerging ‘three-round’ format, with the Top Fuel pilots also set to once again fight it out for the added honour of the Louie Rapisarda Top Fuel Trophy.

Each night from 5.00pm to 9.30pm (approximately) these national show-stoppers will be supported by a fast-paced and action-packed program of entertainment including Porter and Matho’s Top Fuel Motorcycles, Top Doorslammers, Pro Street and three closely-matched categories amid a flurry of on-track light and audio-visual theatrics.

Spectator tickets available at www.willowbankraceway.com.au with tickets starting at just $35.00 for adults and $30.00 for students/concession card holders with ID, while children aged 13 and under gain free admission.
