Just in time for Boomeracing's pilgrimage to the east coast, the World's Quickest Commodore is starting to do as she's told, says owner/driver Maurice Brennan.
“While a lot of our friends in the sport over here are gearing up for their last race at the WA Grand Finals, we still have that as well as the Nitro Champs in Sydney and the Winternationals in Queensland, and after last weekend’s improvements, we’re feeling a lot more excited about the trip with her starting to finally do as she’s told!” he said.
“Last weekend’s runs were topped by a low 6.3 second pass which doesn’t sound that impressive compared to what we’ve achieved in the past, but this season was always going to be about learning about why the car does what it does and that’s what we’re finally discovering now. This new combination has forced us to know the car at a whole new level and that takes time, not just on the track but in the workshop as well. We’re just rapt to have KTrans, Joondalup Carpet Court and Crown Integrated be so patient with us as we learn a whole new world of race craft with this new combination.”
The last chance for West Australian fans to catch the World’s Quickest Commodore will be the Perth Motorplex season finale on Saturday April 9.
