On Thursday 5 June 2014 the Redbank Plaza Shopping Centre will play host to a range of professional drag racing stars as part of a free Fuchs Winternationals fan evening from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
The official Fuchs Winternationals event will see ANDRA drivers from all of the professional categories available to sign autographs, while fans will also have the chance to check out Stuart Bishop’s Top Doorslammer and Luke Crowley’s Pro Stock Motorcycle which will be on display at the centre.
While they do so, the Conroy Dance Centre will provide the opening entertainment before event MC Chad Neylon from ANDRA Television regales the fans with stories of drag racing and gives away prizes.
Willowbank Raceway CEO Tony Manson said the event was the perfect way to celebrate the beginning of the 2014 Fuchs Winternationals.
“Thursday night at Redbank Plaza is going to provide a great opportunity for the fans to get up close and personal with some of their drag racing heroes for a quick chat and an autograph away from the race track,” said Manson.
“We have been very proud to arrange this event with Redbank Plaza, which will be held in the evening of the first day of the Fuchs Winternationals.
“From Friday the group one racers will be on track fighting it out for Fuchs Winternationals glory, so I really urge anyone who is interested in drag racing to take the chance to come on down and wish them luck on Thursday night.”
The Fuchs Winternationals fan night at Redbank Plaza will be held on level one of the centre (in front of Aldi) and will kick off at 6.30pm on Thursday June 5, concluding at 7.30pm.
“The team here at Redbank Plaza is very excited to host this special Fuchs Winternationals fan evening ahead of another great event on-track at Willowbank Raceway,” said Redbank Plaza Marketing Manager Yasmin Chrzescijanski.
“With autograph sessions, entertainment, car displays and some great prizes on offer including an exciting FUCHS Winternationals prize pack from Redbank Plaza – I know it is going to be a great night out for drag racing fans this Thursday.”
