The Australian National Drag Racing Association (ANDRA) is pleased to announce that Janelle Mannix is joining the team.
Mannix will be supporting Amanda Geddes in the Membership and Licensing Officer role, working from ANDRA’s Royston Park (SA) Head Office on Fridays.
This is not the first time that Mannix has worked with ANDRA, having worked in an Accounts role and also in the Membership and Licensing Officer role when Kylie Hazelhurst was on maternity leave in 2018.
She has also been an active ANDRA volunteer official, working in the tower at numerous ANDRA-sanctioned and Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series events for many years, while also supporting her son, Cooper Plummer, as he competes in the Summit Racing Equipment Junior Dragster ranks all around the country.
“I am really happy to be joining the ANDRA team in the office again and looking forward to doing what I can to help the members with their licensing and membership enquiries,” said Mannix, who is also an Aboriginal Community Education Officer for two primary schools.
“Obviously I love drag racing and have been involved in the sport for a long time, so I am really keen to help out and to be working with the members once again, alongside Amanda Geddes.”
ANDRA Chief Executive Officer, Tim McAvaney, said he was very pleased to welcome Mannix to the team.
“Janelle has been a part of the ANDRA landscape at a number of levels for a very long time, and we are very pleased that she will be coming on board with us in the office once again, working with us on membership and licensing enquiries,” McAvaney said.
