So far the 2010/2011 ANDRA Pro Series has started just the way that the Jason Hedges Racing team had hoped with making the semi-finals of the opening event the 2010 Fuchs Australian Nationals at Sydney Dragway.
During the off-season the team had worked very hard with some exciting new developments and dividends have already been seen. However, with that being seen, JHR doesn't want to be a one hit wonder.
“We have begun the new season, just the way that we wanted to. However, with that being said, we want to ensure that we keep the ball rolling in the right direction. At the end of the day, we want to have all of the Tremaniac Racing team finish 1-2-3 in the final championship points chase,” said Jason Hedges, team owner and driver Jason Hedges Racing.
During the off-season the team installed a new Steve Schmidt 400ci power-plant, which recorded the team’s PB in both E.T. and speed – (7.120/192.08). With no time for testing on this engine, the team will now be hunting for more ET, out of this new power plant.
“Even though we reached these numbers, we realise that we need to continue to lift our game to keep pace with the rest of the field and the way that the performance bar continues to be lifted,” said Hedges.
Since the last event on the ANDRA Pro Series event, several members of the JHR team made the trip across the pacific to visit the second last round of the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing series. Many of the team found this to be a valuable experience, in which will be put to good use back home, here in Australia.
On behalf of all of the Jason Hedges Racing team, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our fans and sponsors for their support in 2010. On that note, we would like to wish you and your family all the best for Christmas and the New Year.
Jason Hedges Racing would like to thank DecoGlaze® Glass Splashbacks, J&D Custom Cabinetry, Corfield Media Solutions and Tremaniac Racing for their continued support of the team
