ANDRA wishes to announce that media manager Luke Nieuwhof will be leaving the organisation on December 20.

Luke joined ANDRA in 2011 with a wealth of experience in drag racing and media, he set about improving many aspects of ANDRA’s media operations including the launch of Fastlane magazine, replacing the old ad hoc newsletter. One of Luke’s big achievements was to boost our online presence with the number of direct stories doubling and social media utilisation increasing four fold.

Luke’s passion for the sport and experience presented ANDRA with a unique mix which stepped outside his core responsibilities on many occasions to our benefit. During his rare time off he would often be found spectating at the races.

Unfortunately for ANDRA, Luke’s desire to travel and see the world has bitten hard and his long promised ‘gap year’ will see these ambitions achieved, he will be sorely missed.

ANDRA would like to thank Luke for his work and dedication to the organisation during his tenure and we’re sure he won’t stay away from drag racing for too long.

If you believe you have the ability to build public awareness of the ANDRA brand and its members, promote the benefits of ANDRA membership, establish quality media relationships, achieve exposure of the sport through all forms of media and co-ordinate media requests relating to ANDRA drag racing, ANDRA is now accepting applications for the role of media and PR officer.
