After the success of the first round of the Max Cranes Tri Series in Whyalla, racers now head to Mildura over the Australia Day long weekend where over 70 entries will do battle to take the points before the final round in Coonawarra in March.

The first round buy back in Whyalla turned into money well spent for some competitors who eventually went on to win the meeting, will we see that again in Mildura?

The winners from Whyalla were Dylan Argent with Emily Shiell as runner up in Junior Dragster, Dave Argent in Modified Bike with Derryn McGregor runner up, James Fulton in Super Street with Creagh Sturt runner up, Paul Utting in Modified and Frank Bosely runner up and Dale Tucker in Super Sedan over Paul Keen.

Entries for the second round of the Max Cranes Tri Series are open until Friday 25th January 2013. Sunraysia Drag Club is also offering the entrants a test and tune on Saturday 26th January 2013 between 5pm-8pm.

Supercharged Outlaws will be a feature with all Group 3 eliminators on display over the 1/8th mile. Sunraysia will also be offering a Street Car Challenge bracket for cars slower than 8.50 over the 1/8th mile.

Qualifying will kick off at 1 pm with eliminations at 6pm on Sunday 27th January 2013. For more information head to Facebook or to download an entry click here.
