Six new 660 feet National records were set at Mildura Sunset Strip for the very first time during Round 9 of the Aeroflow Sportsman Drag Racing Championship this past weekend.
Super Comp winner Craig Geddes reset both ends of the E/DA record destroying the elapsed time benchmark of 4.77 with a 4.646. Geddes also surpassed the mile per hour mark of 140.00 mph edging 146.37 mph in his first outing under the new class.
Peter Pisalidis also completed the double by pushing the AA/APIA records from 4.47 seconds and 162.00 mph to a new 4.452 ET and 167.03 mph.
Also in Group Two, Mario Barbon pushed the D/G mile per hour mark from 127.00 mph to a new record of 128.06 mph.
And finally in Modified Bike, Edgell Mallis reached 125.05 mph to set a new B/MB record and wipe out the previous mark of 123.00 mph.
