Tremaniac Racing has proven that they didn't make their investment in Australian Pro Stock Drag Racing just to make up the numbers on the entry list yet rather to make the numbers on the read out boards and the record books. In saying that, Tremaniac Racing has done just that! Once again this season, Aaron will commence his championship defence in just two weeks time at the 2010 Fuchs Australian Nationals at Sydney Dragway.
“The worst part about the season is when we’re not racing. Drag Racing has been a long tradition with our family. However, the flip side to this is that the off-season provides us with a chance to make necessary changes to the cars so that we can have the best shot at winning another championship,” said Aaron ‘Razz’ Tremayne.
Aaron’s last championship trophy is the most impressive of the three that he has on the mantel piece due to the severe increase in competition last season, it was only Aaron’s excellent driving ability that allowed him to prevail in Drag Racing’s toughest category Pro Stock.
“This off-season has really made the team work hard. Knowing that it’s only going to get tougher from here on in,” said Aaron.
Team mate and Brother Tyrone Tremayne is hoping that the team also finishes this year first and second but he said he would like to try and reverse the order from the previous three years.
“I would like to thank Mum and Dad and all of our sponsors for supporting us in what we love most. I’m really starting to get frustrated of being runner-up at the end of the season in the points score but if I have to be runner up I couldn’t think of anyone better than my brother, Aaron. Every time we race, there are no team orders ,we race to win. The offseason has given us time to make a close assessment of the way we have been performing which up to date has served us well but in order for us to go further we have to put in more effort and hopefully make the right decisions.,” said Tyrone.
Tremaniac Racing will be commencing the 2010/2011 ANDRA Pro Series in two weeks time – September 10 – 12 at Sydney Dragway.
Tyronne and Aaron would like to thank their sponsors: Tremaniac Racing, Aqualine Pools, Steve Fox Homes, Noonan Race Engineering, Fuchs Lubricants, DecoGlaze® Glass Splashbacks., Blue eye Eyewear
