Racer #2473 (Jake Chaisty) was awarded as the Super Comp Top Qualifier at the Twilight Nationals event in Mildura on Saturday 16 February 2019, however this has been identified as incorrect after the event.
Racer #4131 (Terry Waterman) Top Qualified but then withdrew from competition as his vehicle had broken.
Below are links to the qualifying sheets relevant to this subject:
- Super Comp after Q3 – #4131 Top Qualifier
- Super Comp after Q4 – #4131 Top Qualifier
- Super Comp re-seeded (after Q4) – #2473 Top Qualifier after #4131 removed to re-seed bracket.
It appears that when the Timing Tower produced the updated seeding sheet for Super Comp, #4131 was removed, hence moving #2473 up to the top of the list which was presented as the Qualifying hierarchy after Qualifying Round 4.
This bulletin is therefore to advise that #4131 (Terry Waterman) is confirmed as Top Qualifier for Super Comp, as his Qualifying Round 2 time still stands.
Note: there is no disqualification applied to Terry Waterman for running in car #7095 as a familiarisation/tuning pass as this was under the permission from the Meeting Director.
